DR. JESS CUMMINGS, PT, DPT
Dr. Jess Cummings is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and co-founder of Restore Thrive. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2007 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University in 2010.
Since 2010, Dr. Jess has provided one-on-one care to patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, logging over 400 hours of continuing education with an emphasis on differential diagnosis, manual therapy, and functional exercise. She specializes in treating chronic spine pain and injuries to the extremities.
Dr. Jess is passionate about teaching her clients about integrative medicine and lifestyle management to optimize their health and improve their healing time. Her clients include acute and chronic spine and extremity injuries, recreational and competitive athletes, and active adults who want to set a great example for their families.
She lives in the Kansas City area with her husband Dr. Tim and their three children, Aiden, Evelyn, and Connor.`

Director of Athletic Training
Dennis Dolan is the Head of Athletic Training at Restore Thrive and a licensed athletic trainer with over 20 years of experience. A Kansas City native, Dennis graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training and a Master's Degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics.
In addition to his work as an athletic trainer, Dennis is a Power Athlete Master Coach, Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC), and CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach. He is the point person for Restore Thrive's Athletic Training Plus program — specializing in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and peak athletic performance.
Dennis has worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes across a wide range of sports, designing strength and conditioning programs to help athletes perform their best and return to competition after injury.
Dennis lives in Olathe with his wife Jennifer and their two sons, JP and Jack.
